J.R Black and Helaina
Unity have now completed the Jewel Machine and have discovered that
it is actually a time machine. In book two of the Hidden World series
J.R and Helaina have fun learning the capabilities of their machine
as they prepare to fight their enemy the Chin Brothers, who have
secrets abilities of their own, and stop them before they can destroy
their families, and the Unity Corporation. In this story about
discovery, and acceptance J.R and Helaina learn about their true
destiny. Can they accept who they are, and what they have to do? Is
the world ready for “The One's” to unite the people of Earth?
Read part two of the Hidden World series to find the answers to those
questions and to learn what J.R and Helaina's ancestors have planned
for them next.
Book two of the Hidden
World series begins with the opening of the Waterfall Dome when J.R
and Helaina are cast in a special light that gives them special gifts
of knowledge, and a few new super powers. Unfortunately, the light
doesn’t stop with them and travels through Earth and it
accidentally infects two human brothers, the Chin's, and causes them
to become a evil source that Unity has to deal with. The Chin's make
big plans to blow up the President of the United states and the CEO's
of Unity. Helaina see's all this in a vision and they rush to test
their skills in using their Jewel Machine so they can stop this from
happening. But before their first big mission they have a lot of fun
taking a few test trips. At the opening of the Waterfall Dome Helaina
is the only one to see the image of a man watching them. She later
learns that he is their very-great-grandfather and her's and J.R's
very special Guardian and Watcher.
After their first big
adventure with the Jewel Machine J.R and Helaina are rewarded with a
invitation from the President of the United States and his wife to a
celebratory ball where silently they are honored. J.R an Helaina
convince their fathers to take them on a tour of the ships storage
bay, where they discover the treasures their people had collected and
brought to earth with them. They are also led to a secret hidden room
filled with special magical gifts from “The Captain”. After
their big mission J.R and Helaina concentrate on their school
responsibilities, and discover that keeping their supper powers a
secret is becoming more difficult.
On a spring break
cruise the Unity's make a unexpected discovery that they decide to
keep to themselves, and their friends test out one of their school
projects. The two teachers accompanying the group on this cruise make
a few surprising discoveries about themselves. Eli Carpenter learns
why he was watching the domes progress, and about his heritage from
William Unity. Helaina's favorite companion, Peanut the sugar glider,
and his friends get into trouble and have a lot of fun keeping up
with their favorite human pets.
This installment of
the Hidden World series ends on the day J.R Black and his
partner/cousin turn sixteen. A few days before the big event Helaina
has a vision that they must use the treasures the Captain gave them.
When they do so they discover that the Captain was issuing them a
very special invitation to travel with them as they make their way to
Earth. When J.R and Helaina return home they discover just what the
Gemini corn that was a gift from the Captain, and which she had taken
with her, does, and has fun with their family and friends.
Book three:
OUT OF THIS WORLD AND BACK AGAIN!, tells of the adventures that J.R
and Helaina have in space. When they return they have to deal with
the Chin brothers again who are about to cause a world shaking
disaster.

BOOK THREE
The day J.R Black and Helaina Unity
tuned sixteen was a day they would never forget. Not only did their
parents give them each a Ford Mustang, but they used their Jewel
Machine for a trip that took them back in time, and millions of miles
from Earth. Through the magic of the gifts that the Captain gave them
they were given the machine settings which would bring J.R and
Helaina back in time, and to the space ship that was carrying their
people to Earth. They would spend a week learning, watching and
absorbing skills they would need to Unite the two populations of
Earth, but when they returned home they would have just been gone
only four short hours. During their time on the ships, J.R and
Helaina got to pilot a POD ship, explore a planet, rescue big foot
like creatures, and see, and do so much more. When they return home
with all the gifts their ancestors have given them they discover
“that the knowledge will come when needed” as promised, because
just seconds after their arrival home they are put in a situation
that confuses their Elders, and they have a lot of fun.
J.R and Helaina don't have much time
to rest when Helaina has visions that the Chin brothers are about to
set off three atomic bombs and cause a tsunami that would destroy
most of the West Coast, and on top of that a Mega Storm is brewing in
the near future. J.R and Helaina must stop the Chin's. With the help
from the F.B.I, a few magic items, super powers, and their family,
and friends. Everyone races off, and with a bit of magic J.R and
Helaina produce their duplicates to help, having twins is indeed more
productive.
While J.R and Helaina are off saving
the world, William and Jennifer take their three youngest
grandchildren on a adventure of their own. They begin exploring a
beautiful coral reef but trouble with their submersible lands them
on a island, where more adventure awaits them. When the family return
to their home on Hope Island there is a invitation they can't turn
down, one that will lead them straight to their destiny.

BOOK FOUR
In part four of the
Hidden World series J.R Black and Helaina Unity use their Jewel
Machine to go on a adventures of discovery. They use the machine to
visit just a few of the hidden Station's of their people on a mission
of discovery and knowledge about who and what they are.
The Unity's and Blacks
welcome two new family members, Bradford Unity, and Aurora Black both
born on April first, exactly 12 hours apart. J.R and Helaina know how
special the two babies are, but swear to keep that secret to
themselves for the sake of the two babies. The Robert twins, Dylan
and Emma, and Pandora Fox also learn something very exciting about
themselves but first they must face a trial of their own.
Using the Jewel Machine
J.R and Helaina make visits to two very different places. Stations 4,
and Station 3 of the ten hidden cities created by Unity. At station 4
Helaina discovers she has amazing language skills, and J.R discovers
their people have developed a Quantum computer named Eden which he
plans to use to take care of the Chin brothers and the kayos they
have caused. Also they learn that dragons are real, and the story of
their magical coins is told. At Station Three, in Egypt under a
pyramid they visit the most beautiful city that Unity has created,
built entirely of marble. Here they learn a little of politics, meet
and old friend in the Alien Control Center, and play a game with the
invisible Poppy.
While Station Hopping
J.R and Helaina put the final touches of their plan together to
capture their most dangerous enemy the Chin brothers, now disguised
as Jack and Draco Ripper. To do this they must put their safety, and
that of their Jewel Machine in jeopardy. To do this their Elders must
have faith, and trust in “The One's”, and J.R and Helaina must
bravely learn that they must now, and forever learn to work as a
team. Their special “Watcher”, the Captain is with them every
step of the way guiding J.R and Helaina, and even giving much needed
wisdom to their Guardians.
Peanut the Sugar glider
and a few of her new friends also go on a few adventures that gets
her into trouble. But when J.R and Helaina not to busy Station
hopping, they let new people in their lives. They both discover that
having a relationship with others can be difficult, especially if you
have to be “The One's” who are destine to save Earth. But they
decide that they have to have a life outside their day job.

Could you be part of a hidden world and
not even know it? J.R Black and Helaina Unity just found out that
they are. Now they have to protect the secret society that they
belong to, and keep all its secrets from being discovered by the
outside world. And on top of everything they begin developing super
hero abilities that they must keep from their friends, and master at
the same time. It's hard being a teenager, But it is even harder when
half the world wants to protect you, and the other half wants to
destroy all that they hold dear. How can two teenage cousins
possible handle all this? By building a time machine of course! And
with a little magic, and the love and support from their very unique
alien family and friends.
This is a unique story about teenage
cousins whose family came to Earth ten generations ago. It was fore
told that “The Ones” would become the hero's that would protect
their new home, and bring Unity to the world. J.R black, and Helaina
Unity are teenagers that have to learn who they are, and what they
are the hard way, and at the same time be your normal everyday teens.
But it can be difficult to hide the truth. Especially after the two
young hero's begin developing special skills, that they have to learn
how to control and use in the right situations. With secret cities
hidden around the world, and right under their very noses, their
super hero talents, a machine that they build to time travel, they go
on exciting adventures of discovery.
The two main characters are: J.R Black,
a typical 15 year old who can build anything, and has a talent for
drawing detailed blue prints of machines yet to be invented. He can
turn the simplest things into amazing gadgets. Oh, Yes! He can also
levitate. And those are just the beginning of his talents and as time
passes they become better, and better. He also has a talent for
getting into trouble. The next is Helaina Unity who was born on the
same exact day as her cousin J.R. She has visions of which leads the
pair into finding the four jewels that begins their adventure filled
journey. The jewels to be used to build a machine that will take
them forward and back in time, a machine only they can use. Helaina
also has a love of animals and can communicate with them. The two
cousins have adventures under the sea, and above.
J.R and Helaina must work together to
solve lots of mysteries, and they have fun doing it. But with all the
mysteries, and adventures they have to learn to accept what life has
to give them, and what they can give the world. Keeping secrets
becomes a way of life, as they work together with their families, to
find a way to Unite the people of Earth, and to accept Unity and to
live in peace.

BIO
Sandra Golden was born in San Jose California and is the
oldest of two brothers, and a sister. I attended several high schools
but graduated from Gunderson High School. I enjoyed volunteering at
school events, was active in cultural exchange club, tutoring,
marching band, and drama club, but my true love was writing. After
graduating high school I attended San Jose City college for awhile
before joining the US Army. I met my husband in the army and when we
got out we settled in Memphis Tennessee. In Dec. 1989 I graduated
from Memphis State University with a B.A in Education, and one month
later on January 4, 1990 my only child James Robert Golden was born.
I became a stay at home mother and was very active as a room mother,
library volunteer, and cub scout leader.
Sadly on New Years Eve 2008 my son J.R was killed in a
motorcycle accident, and in a blink of a eye all the dreams I had for
the future died along with him. All except one. The one dream I
always carried with in my heart kept me moving forward, kept me from
getting lost in my grief. And that was writing and becoming a
published Author. I lost myself in writing a story that was full off
life, full of action and adventure, full of love and acceptance and
discovery and let my son live on in the character of J.R Black.
Giving him the life that I always wanted him to live.
Besides writing I love traveling, cooking, gardening,
walking, crafts of all kinds. I love animals and have several cats
and a male sugar glider named Peanut. The character of Helaina Unity
has a pet sugar glider named Peanut, but hers is a female.
