I went on a road trip to Nashville Tennessee
this past weekend to visit friends. On my home I got stuck in several
construction zone on I 40 I had time to think about this weeks blog.
So today's quotes, or my thoughts are about my experiences I had this
weekend.

either in the driving seat and in control, or you are stuck in the
passenger seat just watching the world go by.” I prefer to be in
the driving seat.

Blog post: I was listening to the
radio siting in a long line of traffic trying to get past a
construction zone when I heard the radio personality talk about a
reward show, and the rewards that people on all the reality shows
must receive. She was jealous about how much money and fame they
received as part of these awards. This made me think about the
rewards that I have gotten. Rewards from my growing up years, rewards
I have gotten for my needle work at the fair, rewards I hope to get
for my writing one day. Even though it is nice to be recognized for
your work it is the hidden rewards that mean the most to me. The
memory of my handsome sons smile when he enjoyed my homemade salsa,
the memory of the sound of his laughter, a hug for a gift, a memory
that brings back a smile, a picture of a lost love one, a shoulder to
cry on from a friend, a hug, a kiss, a furry friends devotion, a
simple note, a scrap book full of memories, these are all the rewards
that I cherish the most. And even though I only had my son for 18
years and his loss is felt every day I still see him as my biggest
reward that life has given me.
