As I wrote my series, and lost myself
in the world I was creating I discovered something important. I
discovered that with every word I wrote, and every direction I sent
my characters in, and the situation that I created, I learned a
little more about myself. I opened up my mind and created a world
that I wanted to live in. A world of acceptance, a world of love, a
world where what mattered most was family, and supporting, and taking
care of that family and those that mattered most to you. I learned
that imagination is a powerful thing. And with your imagination you
can build upon the reality you live and make your life a more
interesting, and exciting thing. That's the best part of being a
writer.
